Her passion for communications began after graduating cum laude from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she worked at a digital fundraising firm for Republican US House of Representative candidates.

Having an interest in public affairs, she joined ROKK Solutions, a communications firm in Washington D.C., where she helped create content, brainstorm and execute for nonprofit organizations, think tanks and Fortune 500 companies.

In 2024, she began working for Congresswoman Young Kim of California as her press secretary. The following year, she started as digital director for the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.

She takes her role on the Committee personally as the daughter of a US Coast Guard veteran. She helps craft social media posts, take photos, produce video and graphic content and devise communication strategies that focus on putting veterans and their families first.

Throughout her career she has participated in the Republican Asian American Staff Association, Filipino Young Professionals of Washington D.C., and the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies.

On Capitol Hill, she continues to work for America’s veterans and encourage young Republican Filipino Americans to pursue their professional and personal goals in Washington D.C.

NAAPPPA established the list in 2016 to highlight the growing number of AAPIs who are rising stars in the professional unelected side of politics.
