Christian Bautista, Abi Marquez bag wins from 46th Telly Awards – Trendrod

Celebrating excellence in digital video and television content.

Filipino content creator Abi Marquez and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, singer-actor Christian Bautista, are among this year’s standout winners at the 46th Annual Telly Awards.

Christian Bautista earned his first recignition at the award-giving body this year, getting a Bronze in the Beauty, Fashion, and Shopping category for his digital series ‘Matching Outfits,’ created with his wife—NYMA founder Kat Bautista.

His content series has become a fan favorite, delighting audiences with playful fashion videos where he coordinates outfits with his partner.

His top five videos alone have pulled in a total of 41.2 million views across platforms, with his fellow celebrities also joining in the fun.

Meanwhile, it was yet another successful year for Filipina content creator Abi Marquez, who is dubbed as the Lumpia Queen of the internet.

The 24-year-old, who had won in other prestigious bodies like the Webby Awards and WIBA Awards, clinched three Silver Telly Awards in different categories.

First of those is in the Online Series, Shows & Segments, where her TikTok account with over 4.4 million followers and counting was recognized.

The said page has since become a go-to destination for food lovers of all ages, across countries, especially those tuning in to watch her break down a traditional dish or try something trendy, and give the spotlight on Filipino food or culture in every frame.

Abi’s videos are fast-paced, visually sharp, yet easy to follow, which keeps viewers engaged from the first second to the last.

Next, in the Food and Beverage Series category, Abi secured her second silver for ‘Mabuhay World,’ which is her love letter to Filipino cuisine and culture on a global scale.

Inspired by the word “Mabuhay,” which means “welcome” or “to live,” the campaign showcases the warmth and hospitality that define Filipino food.

Whenever Abi visits a country, she partners with international food creators to introduce Filipino dishes to new audiences.

The spirit of ‘Mabuhay World’ extends into an annual gathering in the Philippines that brings together food content creators to celebrate collaboration and push Filipino cuisine on the world stage.

Last, and definitely not the least, is Abi’s major vlog collaboration with world-renowned celebrity chef-restauranteur Gordon Ramsay, entitled ‘Gordon Ramsay Doesn’t Like My Beef Wellington‘.

In her dream collab, which happened earlier this year when Gordon visited the Philippines, Abi seized the moment and recreated his iconic Beef Wellington and added her own twist by making a lumpia-inspired version.

The shortform video blew up, racking up nearly 80 million views across platforms to date. But a longer vlog gave fans the full story—from behind-the-scenes jitters to surreal moments with Gordon himself.

The Telly Awards received over 13,000 entries in its 46th edition from across six continents, spotlighting a wide range of creative work—from big-budget campaigns to self-produced social content.

It started in 1979 to recognize local TV commercials, but has since grown into one of the industry’s most inclusive honors, celebrating excellence across all screens.
