MANILA, Philippines — The new online gaming platform of tycoon Enrique Razon Jr. has started to go live, boosting the share price of Bloomberry Resorts Corp. by double digits yesterday.
The platform, called megaFUNalo!, was officially launched over the weekend, promising entertainment that is fun and immersive.
“This all-new online entertainment platform is designed for Filipinos who want to have fun anytime, anywhere – with free-to-play games, live shows and real-money prizes all in one app,” it said on its website.
MegaFUNalo! provides a wide array of options that include on-demand movies, live game shows 24/7, free mini-games as well as interactive live dealers where players can win real cash.
“We’re not just a game – we’re a vibe. Inspired by fiestas and pulutan barkada nights, megaFUNalo! brings you the full Pinoy entertainment experience,” it said.
Registration is required to play the games.
MegaFUNalo! said that it aims to provide a world-class gaming experience for its valued guests and encourages users to play responsibly.
“Responsible gaming is a program that megaFUNalo! seriously upholds to ensure that it keeps its gaming offers fun and safe. This entails preventing underage people from playing and helping those who may not have control over their playing,” it said.
Bloomberry’s online platform will compete directly with offerings of other electronic gaming license holders, including BingoPlus, the online casino brand developed by DigiPlus Interactive Corp.
The new mainstream brand will complement Solaire Online and is expected to bring Bloomberry’s brand of online gaming entertainment to Filipinos nationwide.
Analysts earlier said that investor anticipation surrounding Bloomberry’s new online gaming platform is being reflected in the company’s stock price.
Bloomberry shares soared by 18.4 percent yesterday, closing at P5.92 apiece.
Bloomberry is the owner and operator of integrated resorts Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North in the Philippines as well as Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino in South Korea.
