SB19 is making a special appearance in the “Sama sa Roma” celebration of the 2025 Jubilee Year. The group has also postponed their Riyadh show due to unforeseen circumstances.
P-Pop powerhouse SB19 is set to bring its energy to Rome this October as part of the city’s “Sama sa Roma” celebration, making a special stop from their ongoing “Simula at Wakas” world tour.
The group confirmed through social media that they will headline the annual gathering of Filipinos in Rome, with this year’s edition carrying added significance as part of the 2025 Jubilee Year.
SB19’s performance is scheduled for October 12 at Spazio Atlantico, with the first 1,700 attendees granted free entry.
The “Sama sa Roma” festivities opened on October 4 with a Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica and an audience with Pope Leo XIV at St. Peter’s Square. The following day featured a Jubilee Mass for Migrants.
From October 10 to 11, the Jubilee Conference will gather church leaders, lay representatives, and government officials under the theme “Deepening, Unifying Faith and Culture of the Global Filipino.”
A procession of sacred images from the Philippines including the Black Nazarene, Sto. Niño de Cebu, Our Lady of La Naval, Our Lady of Good Harvest, St. Lorenzo Ruiz, and St. Pedro Calungsod will also take place on October 11.
Before SB19’s much-anticipated concert, attendees can join a Jubilee Mass for the Global Filipino led by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, followed by the festive “Pista ng Pag-Asa” Barrio Fiesta.
The Rome show comes just one day after SB19’s Dubai performance, marking the near-end of their global tour.
Originally, SB19 was scheduled to perform in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 9, but organizers have since announced the event’s cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, adding that ticket refunds will be issued.
After Rome, the “Simula at Wakas” world tour will proceed to Qatar, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand. The group will then cap off October with a “Fast Zone” anniversary event on October 26, in partnership with designer Francis Libiran, to mark their seventh year in the industry.
