Alden Richards’s directorial debut film ‘Out of Order’ is now the No. 1 movie on Netflix Philippines!
Drama-thriller film Out of Order is making waves on the streaming platform Netflix.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards made an impressive directorial debut as his film instantly climbed to No. 1 on Netflix Philippines after premiering on October 2.
Fans and first-time viewers took to social media to share congratulatory messages for Alden, praising his gripping storytelling and the stellar performances of the cast in his first-ever directorial project.
Alongside Alden, Heaven Peralejo and Nonie Buencamino also headline the film.
The drama-thriller film also stars Soliman Cruz, Andrea del Rosario, Joyce Ching, Nicco Manalo, Francine Garcia, and Yayo Aguila.
Out of Order follows a struggling young attorney who is thrust into the case of his life when he must defend his estranged father, a renowned lawyer accused of a brutal murder. As he crosses paths with his ex-girlfriend, now a brilliant public prosecutor, he begins to unravel a web of broken dreams, strained relationships, and deep-rooted corruption.
The film was co-produced by Alden’s own company, Myriad, in partnership with Viva Films.
Adding to its list of achievements, Out of Order earned international recognition as it premiered in the competition section of the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam, which ran from June 29 to July 5.
