Jessica Sanchez is still over the moon after winning “America’s Got Talent” Season 20.
On Instagram, the Filipino-American singer reflected on her victory and, at the same time, revealed the name of her soon-to-be-born daughter: Eliana Mae.
“I’ve taken the last two days to sit still, breathe, and truly process everything that just happened,” she wrote.
“My heart is overflowing with joy, gratitude, and a peace I can’t quite put into words,” she added.
According to Jessica, her win was the result of a long journey.
“Winning ‘America’s Got Talent’ wasn’t just about a single performance or one night… It was about a journey that began over 20 years ago,” she said.
“From a little girl with a dream and a voice that was bigger than her confidence, to the countless auditions, rejections, stages, and moments of doubt along the way… every single step shaped me and prepared me for this moment,” she added.
In her note, Jessica made sure to thank her family, friends, and supporters and ended her post by dedicating the achievement to her baby girl: “And to my baby girl, Eliana Mae.. Mama did it. We did it.”
Jessica first went on “America’s Got Talent” at 10 and reached the semi-finals. She later rose to fame as the runner-up in “American Idol” Season 11.
She made a grand AGT comeback in July, where she sang “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
In the finale episode of the competition, Jessica delivered a powerful performance of “Golden Hour” by JVKE.
Earlier, Jessica released a song about her pregnancy titled “Two Lines.”
