Jinkee expressed how proud she was of her husband, who was honored for his illustrious boxing career, saying she never “imagined” having such a moment.

“I never imagined this moment, but by God’s grace, here we are. This is not just about boxing; it’s about faith, family, sacrifice, and purpose. It’s about every Filipino and every fan who believed in me, even when the doubters didn’t,” she wrote in the caption alongside the hashtags “proud wife” and “my champ.”

Sweeney, who rose to fame in the drama series “Euphoria,” was among the VIPs in attendance during the annual Hall of Fame induction. She recently gained attention after the commercial success of her romantic comedy “Anyone but You” opposite Glen Powell.

Manny, who retired in 2021 with a celebrated 62-8-2 record, became the first boxer to enter the Hall of Fame. In his speech, the boxing star emphasized that every fight was dedicated not just to his family but to the Filipino people.

“Every fight, every victory was a step further from poverty. It was not just for me but for my family, for the Filipino people,” he said. “This is our victory. This is our story, and the best is yet to come.”

Aside from Manny, the 2025 inductees include female boxers Yessica Chavez, Anne Sophie Mathis, Mary Jo Sanders and trailblazer Cathy “Cat” Davis, among others.

Amid the recognition, Manny previously announced that he is preparing for a comeback fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in July.  /ra
