Thousands of guests are expected to come out to a Brampton park for Fiesta Extravaganza – the city’s largest Filipino festival featuring a full weekend of music, food, performances and much more.
The festivities start on Friday, with a three-day festival highlighting Filipino heritage and culture through traditional dance performances, live music, a food fair, and cultural displays.
Promoting “harmony and appreciation of diverse cultures,” Fiesta Extravaganza is a celebration of Filipino traditions “while offering an open environment for cultural interaction.”
The celebrations start on Friday with a night market featuring local vendors and Fiesta Extravaganza’s first-ever karaoke night, while the food market will include tastes of the Philippines and beyond.
The action will continue into Saturday and Sunday with performances by JAYA, known as “Asia’s Queen of Soul,” singer-songwriter and YouTube star AJ Rafael, and rising Filipino-Canadian performer Elle & Tha Gang.
Mayor Patrick Brown and City Councillors Rowena Santos and Rod Power put out a video message encouraging residents to come out and enjoy the festivities.
Brampton Fiesta Extravaganza 2025 starts on Friday and runs until Sunday at Chinguacousy Park.
