Sofronio Vasquez, winner of The Voice will headline two key shows in New York on July 19 and Los Angeles on October 11. He is the first Filipino, and first Asian, to walk away with the title in NBC’s reality TV singing competition.

Vasquez stopped tracks and made history. He performed in two Philippine Independence Day parades in New York and New Jersey. He is set to perform at the July 4th Racing Festival at the Saratoga Race Course, with a live rendition of “America the Beautiful,” the race billed as an all-American entertainment.

Produced by Godzella Productions and Overture25 Productions, first-time producers Zelle Devilbiss and Dr. Jerome Dayao said they wanted to create a “world-class stage for Sofronio’s world-class talent.”

Vasquez’s performance on The Voice’s YouTube channel is the most viewed video in its history with over 5 million views.

“As producers of Sofronio Vasquez Live in NYC on July 19th at The Town Hall, every detail reflects our commitment to excellence that matches the caliber of talent our community deserves – when the world sees what we’re capable of, it changes the conversation for every Filipino artist who follows,” said Zelle Devilbiss in a press statement.

“This isn’t just about one show – it’s about creating a platform where Filipino artists don’t just participate in the global spotlight, they command it,” she added.
