Trevor Magallanes, husband of Filipino actress Rufa Mae Ocampo Quinto-Magallanes, famous by the name Rufa Mae Quinto, has passed away. The news was announced on Quinto’s social media on July 31, featuring her photos with Trevor Magallanes and their daughter Athena. The caption read:
“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope u give us time to mourn his lost especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!”
Addressing the circumstances of his passing, Rufa Mae Quinto wrote:
“We are still gathering factual information about his death. Even us or his immediate family are still verifying what happened. So we kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death.”
The couple reportedly married in 2016. According to the Manila Bulletin, despite facing problems in their relationship, the couple had not taken any legal steps to file for divorce and remained officially married.

In her caption, she revealed plans to travel to the United States on Friday with her daughter. Rufa Mae Quinto mentioned that she will share more details as soon as she receives them and urged fans not to rely on any other sources for information.
The caption ended with a note:
“Thank u very much and pls give us respect & pray for us in this time of trial. Hanggang sa huli…. Hanggang sa muli, Mahal kita Trev.”
The Filipino phrase translates to Until the end… Until we meet again, I love you, Trev. As of now, the exact cause of his death has not been confirmed.
