Platinum Karaoke hits a high note on its 25th year with launch of first-ever concept store at SM Makati

Platinum Karaoke, the Philippines’ leading homegrown karaoke brand, marked a major milestone on its 25th anniversary with the grand opening of its very first Concept Store at the SM Makati Cyberzone.

The pioneering retail space offers customers an immersive, interactive experience that reflects the brand’s innovation, evolution, and enduring connection with Filipino music culture.

Celebrating a quarter-century of entertaining Filipino households, Platinum Karaoke has expanded its footprint from a beloved karaoke staple to a full-fledged audio entertainment brand. The new Concept Store highlights this evolution, merging tradition with cutting-edge technology to serve a broader spectrum of customers — from Gen Z creators and vloggers to party-loving titas and titos, and even grandparents reliving musical classics.

The launch event was attended by Platinum Karaoke executives, including President Dipak Asudani, Founder Kim Jong, and General Manager Allan Espinas, along with SM Executives Gladdys Ramos, Kathleen Anne Cruz, and Mina Torres. Also present were media guests, influencers, and bloggers who took part in the brand’s milestone celebration.

The Concept Store features an immersive KTV Room for hands-on product trials, live sing-along sessions, and demos of Platinum’s newest audio tech. On display are state-of-the-art products such as the Alpha 2, an all-in-one hub combining karaoke, Android TV, digital TV, smart voice assistants, YouTube streaming, Pro Score singing duels, and pitch effects. The store also carries portable speakers, wearable audio gear, wireless microphones, amplifiers, and soundbars — catering to homes, parties, podcasts, and mobile entertainment.

As a special treat, balladeer Daryl Ong graced the launch with a live performance. Known for his viral renditions of ‘Stay,’ ‘Ikaw na Nga,’ and ‘All of Me,’ Ong also joined guests for intimate karaoke sessions, bringing the Platinum soundscape to life.
