Philippine Arena erupts with OPM powerhouses

The Philippine Arena transformed into a sea of music, lights and Filipino pride on 5 July as Puregold’s OPM Con 2025 brought over 50,000 fans for what would become one of the most unforgettable nights in Original Pilipino Music history.

OPM’s biggest names, including SB19, BINI, Flow G, G22, KAIA, Skusta Clee, Sunkissed Lola, Rico Blanco and surprise icons, attended the sold-out event. Puregold not only solidified its position in retail but also made a strong statement: it is now a significant force in Philippine entertainment.

Women of OPM rule the stage

With their electrifying song “Karera,” Bini — dubbed the Nation’s Girl Group — set the tone for the evening.

James Reid unexpectedly joined the crowd onstage for an incredible performance just as they were getting into the groove. Of course, their final song, “Pantropiko,” which went viral, will not be forgotten.

Following KAIA, who brought intensity with “You Did It,” the stage was taken over by Mayonnaise, who sang the TikTok-fueled anthem “Jopay,” causing the arena to erupt in an emotional sing-along.

With a fierce show that culminated with their anthem “Filipina Queen,” which had the audience raising fists and flags in the air, G22 amplified the girl power. After that, Yeng Constantino gave everyone that cozy, distinctly Pinoy vibe with a rock-solid set that was topped off by the iconic “Salamat,” once again demonstrating her standing as an icon.

Soul, swag and sentiment

With their emotive songs, such as the breakout hit “Pasilyo,” Sunkissed Lola elevated the mood to a more soulful level. The arena was filled with phone lights that swayed to the music, a moment of genuine OPM magic.

Then, hip-hop heavyweights Skusta Clee and Flow G delivered a powerful one-two punch. Skusta Clee followed with touching singles “Kalimutan Ka” and “Pauwi Na Ako.” Flow G dominated the stage with “High Score” and “ICON.”

The two astonished fans with a surprise duet performance, setting the stage ablaze with excitement.

P-op kings bring it home

SB19 took over the stage like the real P-pop kings just when the evening was about to get even better.

They shocked fans once more with a historic collaboration, bringing Rico Blanco onstage for a powerful performance of “Liwanag sa Dilim,” after energizing the audience with “Crimzone” and opening with “Dam.”

The show was more than simply a concert; it was a celebration of Filipino pride, artistry and unity. The evening drew to a close with SB19’s number with Blanco and other Filipino performers for a hyped rendition of “Dungka.”

In typical Puregold flair, the night finished with appreciation rather than lights and acclaim. The complete lineup came together for a special closing performance, thanking the audience and devoting a final song to the spirit of Filipino music, a strong symbol of Puregold’s unwavering supportfor OPM.
