AS part of the celebration of Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP) 2025, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is set to award composers who won in the biennial Composition Prize.

The awarding ceremony is set on July 29, 2025, at the Tanghalang Leandro V. Locsin in Intramuros, Manila.
Started in 2016, the NCCA Composition Prize is a competition on concert hall music, which calls for extended works that go beyond popular or traditional music-writing or improvisation.
It has 10 categories, namely chamber category, handbell choir, multi-percussion solo, solo piano group a, solo piano group b, solo piano group c, solo organ, solo rondalla, solo string and solo wind.
