The Mr. World Philippines organization is giving aspiring candidates until October to apply.
Aspiring male beauty pageant candidates have a chance to pursue that dream as the Mr. World Philippines organization has announced that it is extending its application period for the Mr. World Philippines pageant.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Mr. World Philippines organization announced that it is extending the submission of applications for the pageant until October 15, 2025. In the caption to the post, the organization said that they accept either a “season contender” or someone “stepping into the spotlight for the first time.”
The initial deadline for applications was set on August 30, 2025, with the organization providing a link to application forms as well as instructions to applicants to send one full body shot, one swimwear photo and one headshot.
Whoever gets accepted will be following in the footsteps of Mr. World Philippines 2024 Kirk Bondad, who finished in the Top 20.
When he competed in the Mr. World competition, Kirk placed in the Top 12 of the Mr. World Top Model competition. Kirk was commended by the Mr. World Philippines for showcasing Filipino craftsmanship by wearing a suit made by designer Francis Libiran.
The closest the country has come to winning the Mr. World pageant was back in 2012 when Andrew Wolff placed first runner-up to Mr. Colombia Francisco Javier Escobar Parra.
Kirk has since gone on to compete in the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant, ending up as one of the 2025 winners alongside Mister Supranational 2025 Kenneth Cabungcal, 2025 Mister Pilipinas Global Jether Palomo, 2025 Mister Pilipinas Manhunt International Raven Lansangan, 2025 Mister Eco International Kitt Cortez, 2025 Man of the Year Angelo Toledo, and 2025 Mister Cosmopolitan Kenneth Marcelino.
