LOOK: A Classic Board Game Is Getting a Pinoy Makeover—And It’s All About Our Beaches

Who hasn’t spent hours rolling dice, trading properties, and trying (sometimes desperately) to avoid bankruptcy with friends and family over a game of Monopoly? The classic board game is getting a local twist—and it’s one that celebrates the Philippines in all its tropical glory.

Monopoly: Beaches of the Philippines is officially making its debut later this year, bringing the country’s most iconic coasts and landmarks to the game board. For the first time ever, Filipinos will get their own localized edition of the beloved game—and it’s packed with sunshine, sand, and a whole lot of Pinoy pride.

This edition showcases the country’s world-famous beaches in true Monopoly fashion. Instead of just trading Park Place or Mayfair, players can now snap up prime coastal properties across the archipelago, all while competing to build their empire and stay in the game.

That means you could technically own Boracay, Palawan, and even other stunning waterfronts—all from the comfort of your living room.

The release is made possible through a partnership between Gaming Library, Winning Moves, Hasbro, and the Philippine Department of Tourism, turning this into more than just a fun collectible. It’s also a way to highlight the Philippines’ natural beauty and vibrant culture to locals and tourists alike.

Monopoly: Beaches of the Philippines will officially launch during Gaming Library’s High Stakes event at EDSA Shangri-La on October 3–5, 2025.

But if you can’t wait, pre-orders are already open on the Gaming Library website here, and the game will soon hit select retail stores nationwide.

With Gaming Library already known for bringing localized hits like Coup PH, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, and Codenames PH to Filipino gamers, this Monopoly edition feels like the perfect next step in their mission to make board games part of every Filipino home.

So, are you ready to roll the dice and take a trip around the Philippines one beach at a time?
