Two of the country’s biggest stars are teaming up for the first time. Dreamscape Entertainment has confirmed that Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid will headline an upcoming teleserye, marking their highly anticipated television comeback.
In its official announcement, Dreamscape called the project “the powerhouse tandem you never saw coming. Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo and Multimedia Prince James Reid, together in a teleserye from Dreamscape Entertainment.”
James had earlier dropped hints about working with a “very talented actress” during an interview on Karen Davila’s vlog, sparking speculation among fans. Now, the news has set social media abuzz, with many celebrating the unexpected pairing.
“KATHREID RISE!!!!!!!!! WE WAITED 10 YEARS FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!” one fan wrote on Instagram. Another chimed in with, “Ahhhhhh can’t wait!!!! Best tandem yet!!!!” while others on X declared that the new duo already showed strong chemistry.
This will be the first teleserye to feature Kathryn and James as co-leads. Both actors previously belonged to two of the most iconic love teams in Philippine showbiz—Kathryn with Daniel Padilla as “KathNiel” and James with Nadine Lustre as “JaDine.”
