The ever-expanding world of K-pop has welcomed a new powerhouse to its ranks—AHOF, short for All-time Hall of Fame.
Composed of nine multinational members, the group made their highly anticipated official debut on July 1 with the release of their first mini-album, “Who We Are.” Among the roster is Filipino singer JL Gaspar, marking another significant milestone for Filipino representation in the global K-pop scene.
The debut album features the lead single “Rendezvous,” a band-style, guitar-driven track that evokes nostalgia and warmth. According to reports, the lyrics of the song were penned by member Cha Woong-ki, who also contributed to composing it.
The song captures a dreamy and sentimental vibe, aiming to showcase both the individuality and synergy of the newly debuted group. Since its release, the music video for “Rendezvous” has garnered a warm reception online, particularly from Filipino fans, who have shown overwhelming support for JL.

JL, or John Louie Gaspar, is no stranger to the spotlight. Before joining AHOF, he was part of the P-pop boy group PLUUS, which debuted in 2023. Known for his smooth vocals and captivating stage presence, JL gained even greater attention when he joined SBS’ idol survival program “Universe League” earlier this year. Through consistent performance and public votes, he earned his spot in the final AHOF lineup as the first rank—making him the sole Filipino in the group.
AHOF’s members hail from different countries, embodying the global nature of K-pop today. The final lineup includes: JL from the Philippines, Park Ju-won, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Woong-ki, Park Han all from South Korea, Zhang Shuaibo from China, Chih En of Taiwan Daisuke of Japan and Steven an Australian-Korean member.

Before their official debut, the group had already begun building a fanbase by performing at events like the 2025 MyK-Pop Festa on June 19, where they showcased rearranged versions of songs from their “Universe League” journey, such as “Ignition” and “Butterfly.” Their polished performances have fueled anticipation for their rise in the K-pop industry.
The group’s next big appearance is scheduled for July 26 at the SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer Festival, where they are expected to perform live on broadcast TV. As AHOF officially steps into the limelight, fans around the world—especially from the Philippines—eagerly await what the group will achieve next. With talent, diversity, and strong fan support behind them, AHOF is poised to make a lasting impact in the ever-competitive K-pop scene.
