Jessica Sanchez gets standing ovation for ‘Die With A Smile’ performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’

A nine-month pregnant Jessica Sanchez is back at it again, wowing the judges and the audience of ‘America’s Got Talent” Season 20.

In the latest episode of the American talent competition, the Filipino-American singer offered a powerful performance of “Die With A Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga while clad in a relaxed white gown.

After her performance, the judges and the live audience gave her a standing ovation and enthusiastic rounds of applause.

“You look like a little pregnant angel,” Sofia Vergara said.

“Your voice, I haven’t heard anything like that,” she added. “Bravo, Jessica.”

Simon Cowell commended Jessica’s beautiful song arrangement and strong vocal prowess.

“It was, I think, the best performance we heard from you so far,” he said.

Earlier in September, Jessica advanced to the finals of “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 via public voting.

Jessica made a grand comeback on the show in July, where she sang “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia.

She first went on “America’s Got Talent” at 10 and reached the semi-finals. She rose to fame as the runner-up in “American Idol” Season 11.

Jessica recently released the single “Two Lines” about her pregnancy.  —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
