Aguila Entertainment has issued a public warning after discovering that unauthorized Facebook ads have been using actress Jennylyn Mercado’s image to promote an online gaming platform called “PH Sugar.”
In a statement posted on their official Facebook page, the management clarified that Jennylyn is not in any way connected or affiliated with the said platform.
“The said group is illegally using Jennylyn’s photo/video in the Facebook ads they are running to lure unknowing users to download or try their platform,” the statement read.
Aguila Entertainment also confirmed they are now coordinating with authorities to determine the appropriate legal action. The agency urged the public to remain vigilant and to verify the legitimacy of any online gaming sites or promotional content.
