Islamic Cultural Center holds week of educational activities for Filipino Muslim community

Doha, Qatar: Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised an educational week for the Filipino community, hosting the Filipino preacher Alimuddin Onorfon, who delivered a series of lectures covering various topics. 

The programme aimed to promote awareness and enhance social and family education among members of the Filipino Muslim community.

The programme addressed topics such as family relations, elderly care, family roles, and the challenges faced by the Muslim family today. 

In addition, the preacher dedicated two lectures to the jurisprudence of inheritance and the science of succession, stressing the importance of this field of knowledge and its fundamental principles, so that attendees could learn it and help spread it within their community.

The audience expressed great appreciation and strong engagement with the valuable knowledge and life experiences shared by the preacher. 

They also extended their gratitude to Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center for its efforts and organisation. 

The event was held in coordination with the Union of Filipino Muslims, as part of the Center’s ongoing commitment to working with various Muslim communities to implement programmes that meet their cultural and educational needs, while strengthening the capabilities of their members.
