HUAWEI is bringing its celebrated XMAGE Exhibition Roadshow to major cities across the Philippines, showcasing breathtaking images captured by Filipino photographers, hobbyists, and international talents, while highlighting the power of HUAWEI’s industry-leading mobile imaging technology.
The roadshow opens at SM City Cebu (September 5–17), SM Mall of Asia (September 5–10), SM North Edsa (September 5–14), and SM Davao Ecoland (September 6–15). Open to the public, these exhibitions invite visitors to experience how HUAWEI’s innovations are redefining smartphone photography and inspiring creativity.
A celebration of art and technology
Each showcase presents an immersive gallery featuring HUAWEI’s latest imaging advancements through the HL Series collection, winning entries from local XMAGE contests, works by Fotomoto photographers and Manila Bulletin contributors, as well as stunning images from the global HUAWEI community. Adding to the experience are the works of Mindanaoan artist Kublai Millan, known for his monumental sculptures rooted in Filipino culture.
XMAGE: Transforming mobile photography
At the heart of the roadshow is HUAWEI’s XMAGE technology, a groundbreaking imaging system that continues to set new benchmarks in mobile photography. With advanced AI processing, superior low-light performance, and unmatched color fidelity, XMAGE transforms everyday moments into works of art—whether captured by seasoned professionals or casual enthusiasts.
Turning every shot into a masterpiece with the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series
The exhibition highlights the full potential of HUAWEI’s XMAGE innovations through the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series. Equipped with an Ultra Chroma Camera powered by XMAGE, the Pura 80 delivers vivid color accuracy, true-to-life portraits, and breathtaking detail in both wide and long-range shots—even in challenging night scenes. This series redefines what is possible in mobile photography, empowering users to produce professional-grade images with ease.
XMAGE Awards 2025: A global stage for creativity
Alongside the roadshow, HUAWEI is inviting photographers worldwide to join the XMAGE Awards 2025, an international competition open to both professionals and hobbyists. Participants may submit up to 30 entries—photos or videos—all captured using a HUAWEI smartphone. Submissions must be in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format (under 30 MB), while videos should be in MP4 (under 400 MB), with EXIF data intact.
Entries will be accepted until September 15, 2025, via the XMAGE Awards website, HUAWEI Community, or My HUAWEI app using a HUAWEI ID. Participants may also join by posting their works on Instagram with #HUAWEIXMAGE, tagging @huaweixmageawards, and ensuring their accounts are public. This year, three Grand Prize winners will each receive USD 10,000, while 97 other winners will take home USD 1,500 each.
