SUMMERLAND, Canada — Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez is going viral again for another golden moment.
The “American Idol” alumna made headlines last month after receiving a golden buzzer for her “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 audition.
The occasion was very significant as Jessica had previously competed in the reality competition show’s inaugural season as a 10-year-old, making it all the way to the semifinal round, and during her second stint announced she was expecting.
Judge and actress Sofia Vergara gifted Jessica the golden buzzer moment following the latter’s powerful performance of Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things.”
Now Jessica is making the Internet waves once more after featuring in the latest video by content creators Jonathan Tilkin and Anthony Gargiula.
The three individuals all sang the chorus of “Golden” from Netflix’s hit animated movie “KPop Demon Hunters.”
The soundtrack of that film features a snippet sung by Filipino actress-singer Lea Salonga.
Jessica is set to compete in the third quarterfinal of “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 which airs on September 2 (the 3rd in the Philippines).
