  • My great great great granddad was one of them, but unfortonately got sick and go back to phil… but my great grandmom was eager to help the family and sacrifice to work in hawaii at Dole Plantation.

  • When the Philippines became a colony of the USA, FILIPINOS became American citizens ….. this is misleading because a FILIPINO at that point In time is/was a Spaniard borned in the Philippine Islands otherwise known as INSULARES. The SACADAS or farm workers were exploited by the SMART ones or educated greedy persons …… But the real heroes are/were the industrious and well adjusted workers who stayed πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

  • U dont even know who's filipino amd hawaiin

  • I just got back from Hawaii. Saw Filipinos working left and right. They seem like they would outwork the energizer bunny. How long would it take Filipinos to build a house? Uh, too late — they're already done.

  • This is a very good video. It is a reminder for all Filipinos, especially the young ones who does not know the hard their ancestors lived to be able to uplift their lives. Lots of sacrifices to be away from their families n being discriminated by the local people. They are truly heroes. Lets not forget about that.
