Global vocal powerhouse and Manila International Film Festival Best Actress Morissette is setting the stage ablaze for her highly anticipated 15th anniversary concert, “ÉMBER,” and she’s not doing it alone.
The singer-songwriter recently made an announcement that world-class Filipino American producer and music director Troy Laureta will be joining her as both musical director and special guest for the grand celebration happening on Oct. 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines.
In an Instagram post following her weekend appearance at Pechanga in Temecula, Calif., Morissette could hardly contain her excitement, sharing, “SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP TO FINALLY SHARE that music extraordinaire and worldclass producer [Troy Laureta] is joining us at my 15th Anniversary Concert.”

While Morissette and Laureta have collaborated in the past, this upcoming concert marks a significant step up in their creative partnership.
“Although this isn’t our first time working together, we are taking things to the NEXT LEVEL!” she declared and she hinted at a show that will push the boundaries of musical and emotional storytelling.
The synergy between the two artists is deeply rooted not just in their artistry, but also in their shared heritage. Morissette proudly pointed out that she and Laureta are “not just both Bisaya,” but also kindred spirits who “share the same fire passion towards our craft.”
“I love that both Troy and I are not just both Bisaya,” she added.
In April this year, Laureta, who has served as musical director for Ariana Grande, shared his talent for the benefit of abused children in the Philippines.
Fans can expect a dynamic show that reflects Morissette’s growth over the past 15 years, shaped by resilience, reinvention and relentless passion.
With Laureta at the helm of musical direction, “ÉMBER” is all set to be a culmination of years of artistry igniting into a live spectacle.
As Morissette puts it, “Y’ALL AIN’T READYYYYY.” And with a lineup like this, she’s probably right.
