  • Lahat yan naabutan ni Enrile

  • modern is so cringe

  • So basically every decade they copy black Americans style, dance and music style. Typical

  • From the Land of Ophir Philippines is the rising Tiger of Asia again. makikilala rin tayou sa buong mundo.

  • Nakakainggit ang ibang bansa guys like for example in Korea. Kasi may mga movies sila or teleserye or whatsoever u call it na feni-feature ang history at national dress nila (I don't know how to call it soriii). Not just one or two movies, but tons of it. Pero sa Filipino tvs, wala masyado huhu.

  • No we are STILL FILIPINO

  • 50's and so on are Americans.

  • Can you do a long series about the Pre colonial Philippines?

  • From classical music to modern music.. thats how music was evolved from past to.present generation … from classic attire to modern attire … its very differenttt

Filipiniana has a Spanish influence in it, at sa ngayon iyon ang tinataguriang pambansang damit natin. Since others here spouting about "We lost our identity because of the colonizers", why don't we Filipinos, unite as one and embrace our culture more. Because past is past and you can't change it and, the fact that Filipinos has been influenced not only by Spanish and the US, but also by Chinese, Arabs and Indians. Why not embrace it and eventually make a culture that what we can call our OWN. Pero sana talaga, balang araw ay magkaroon ng sariling tradisyunal na damit ang Pilipinas. Yung walang bahid ng kolonyalismo ibig kong sabihin.

  • 1:22 bat ko Kinanta🤣

  • this is a reason why i kinda hate Spain. they took our culture freedom away from us for 300 YEARS! so obviously we would have a hard time creating our own unique form of culture.

  • Yung gusto na ganito pa rin damit ng tao sa Pilipinas ngayon eh mauna na magpatahi at suotin sa labas habang nagaabang ng jeep o nakikipagunahan sa bus. Mas mainam kapag may bagyo at baha yung kalsada. Baka kayo ang maging trailblazer ng fashion sa Pinas.

  • 1950's filipinos don't look asian at all

  • 1950s is the coolest decade

  • I can't speak for the other eras because I wasn't born yet, but Idk why you have to use foreign music during the 90s up to 2010s. 90's was the peak of Filipino rock bands, the likes of Parokya ni Edgar, Wolfgang, Rivermaya etc. Boy groups then, like Streetboys were not known for producing music but for dancing hip hop. If you wanna go hiphop, then Francis M., and Andrew E were the thing up to the early 2000s with the Salbakuta. Then we have novelty songs like otso-otso, and Spaghetti by the Sex Bomb girls. It was also in the 2000s that pop rock became a thing, and we have Yeng Constantino, Kitchie Nadal, Imago, etc. Early 2010s was dominated by gloc 9 up until the middle where "hugot" music became popular. I don't even know where you got that awful electric music from, budots would've sounded better.

It's not like the Philippines were the only ones who listened and replicated American music when American bands were world famous. And just because we listened to them a lot, doesn't mean we didn't have our own music. Seriously.
