Filipino Austrian Eurovision Song Contest winner Johannes “JJ” Pietsch on Monday performed along with the members of the ABS-CBN Sunday entertainment show “ASAP” in Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

JJ posted his experience on his Instagram page, saying the variety show as one of his favorites growing up and was honored to sing with singers like Martin Nievera and Regine Velasquez, who were seen in his Instagram reel.
“I had the great honor to perform at [ASAP] in Birmingham! The little JJ who loved to watch Filipino TV with mom is screaming right now! Meeting all of the singers and entertainers of the Philippines that I looked up to was such an insane moment!” he wrote.

The Eurovision winner, who represented Austria in the annual Contest in May, also brought his mother and sisters along with him to Birmingham.
Former Eurovision entrant Vincent Bueno, who is a Filipino who represented Austria in 2021, was a former mainstay in the Sunday noontime show.
Birmingham hosted the annual contest in 1998.
JJ won the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland back in May with his operatic ballad, “Wasted Love”, and with his victory, will bring the Contest to the Austrian capital Vienna in 2026.
