D.O., or Doh Kyung-soo, held his ‘DO IT’ Asia Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena in August. The South Korean singer is a member of the renowned K-pop group EXO and has also acted in K-dramas. He is best known for his solo songs “I’m Gonna Love You,” “That’s Okay,” and “Rose.” Recently, he released his first full album, “Bliss,” which showcases his soulful and artistic storytelling.
D.O. kicked off his Philippine concert with a cinematic performance of “Do you remember?” and filled the arena with nostalgic and thrilling energy. He followed it with “Nobody Knows It,” infused with bossa nova elements, “Nobody Knows It,” infused with bossa nova elements, and then “Wonder,” which sustained the mood.
Afterward, he greeted his Filipino fans warmly, thanking them for braving the weather, before moving into “Mars,” where his smooth yet resonant vocals gave a cosmic feel.
“Where You Were” and “Simple Joys” further revealed his ability to create vivid imagery through expressive storytelling. To help his audience connect even more, English translations of his lyrics were shown on screen. This thoughtful gesture pulled the audience closer to the artist and his music.
He then shifted to a more sultry sound with the R&B track “Fit,” captivating the arena with his vocal timbre and textured soundscapes. Building on the momentum, he serenaded fans with his hit “I’m Gonna Love You.”

The energy turned playful with the crowd favorite “Popcorn,” where fans enthusiastically chanted along. “5 Minutes” followed, offering lush soundscapes that transported the audience to a blissful state. D.O. then invited everyone to stand and dance for “Sing Along,” while fans joined the fun with light-up sunglasses.
Closing the first half, he left the stage as the crowd carried on singing his solo tracks, including songs from EXO.
He returned energized, opening with “Love Me Right” and even asking fans which EXO songs they wanted to hear. Their choice, “Peter Pan,” stirred nostalgia since it had been a long time since he performed it. D.O. also checked in on concertgoers from all levels of the arena, drawing lively responses.
Shifting to slower numbers, he delivered a soulful rendition of “It’s Love,” showcasing his vocal range and control. “My Dear” highlighted his honeyed falsetto, while “I Do” charmed the audience with its conversational style.

Later in the evening, he declared, “The Philippines is the best.”
Reflecting on the making of “Bliss,” he said he hoped listeners would feel encouraged by his songs.
“Thank you very much, I’ll continue to become an artist who can produce these kinds of songs,” he added.
Comforting tracks “That’s Okay,” “I’ll Be There,” and “Draw My Path” deepened the emotional connection. He mentioned that these songs convey the message he wishes to relay to his listeners, that it’s fine to be their true selves.
While the singer continued to engage with the attendees, he reminded fans to cherish the moment, as many expressed their wish that the concert could go on longer.
As the show neared its end, he sang “In Another Life,” filling the arena with warmth, before lifting spirits again with “Somebody.” Fans then surprised him with a light-up banner that read, “We can do it all with Kyungsoo!” The arena soon echoed with calls for an encore as fans sang his original songs.
D.O. returned with “Rose,” elevating the arena’s energy one last time. He playfully had the crowd repeat the “Popcorn” fan chant, amusing everyone with his teasing.
A fan-made video tribute followed, featuring heartfelt photos and clips, after which D.O. bantered with fans like old friends. He closed the night with a promise to return to his Filipino supporters.
