The multi-awarded chefs headlines the fifth edition of Guevarra’s Taste of the Philippines: A Global Culinary Journey
Guevarra’s by Chef Laudico, in partnership with Nutribullet, proudly continues its tradition of honoring world-class Filipino culinary talent with the fifth edition of Taste of the Philippines: A Global Culinary Journey.

Held on September 18, 2025, at Guevarra’s in San Juan City, the event showcased the exceptional artistry of Australia-based Filipino chefs Marc Nacua and Princess Anne Uy, both of whom have made waves in Australia’s multicultural dining scene. Together, they brought a dining experience that beautifully intertwined Filipino heritage with global culinary innovation.
Chef Marc Nacua, an acclaimed pastry master with over 15 years of experience at Melbourne’s Crown Casino and now dnata Inflight Catering, is known for transforming Filipino inspirations into world-class desserts. Crowned Dessert Champion at the 2024 World Food Championship – Australia and ranked among the Top 7 at the World Food Championship in Indianapolis, his creations balance artistry and bold flavors with a distinctly Filipino soul.
Chef Princess Anne Uy, a trailblazer in Melbourne’s culinary landscape, has led kitchens at Nobu, Crown Casino, and Marvel Stadium, where she managed catering for crowds of up to 60,000 during headline shows by global icons like Nicki Minaj, U2, and Lady Gaga. Her innovative style—melding Filipino flavors with Japanese precision and modern Australian flair—has earned her international recognition, including the Silver Knife Bocuse d’Or Australia – National (2025) and 2nd Place in Seafood at the World Food Championship (2023, Dallas).
At the Manila showcase, both chefs crafted a menu that reimagined Filipino classics with global influences:
