Filipino-American guard Jason Brickman has skipped the PBA Season 50 Draft Combine and will also miss this Sunday’s Annual Rookie Draft at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
His agent Marvin Espiritu said the cat-quick guard out of Long Island is currently fulfilling a CSR (corporate social responsibility) in Guam.
“He (Brickman) has prior commitment that coincided with the draft combine and draft day,” Espiritu told the Manila Times on his Thursday.
The founder of the EMBM Management group also said the 33-year-old Brickman will be back in Manila on Sept. 8, Monday.
Brickman is tipped to figure among the top 3 picks in the draft.

Others who are expected to be in in the top 3 include Juan Gomez de Liano and former NCAA player Will Gozum.
Brickman currently plays for the Abra Weavers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League and won’t be able to play for his future PBA squad until the end of the MPBL season.
