Filipino American motorsport prodigy Bianca Bustamante continues to race forward as she closes yet another chapter in her rising career.

In an Instagram post, the young racer marked the end of her season with Formula E’s CUPRA team, calling it “a chapter and season closed,” but one she says “will have a bookmark.”

“It’s been such an amazing journey the past few months working with @cuprakiro and @formulae,” she shared. “From driving in the rookie test in Berlin, to shadowing the team in Jakarta to the season finale in London. Each step has helped me grow as a driver and I’m trying to be fully present and absorb every second.”

She highlighted the mental agility needed in Formula E: “One big thing with Formula E is the amount of multitasking… a lot of instructions over the radio and setting changes, all while driving the cars to the limit.”

She also shared the excitement of being part of key milestones with the team: “It also was fun to witness all the firsts for the team! First pole & first win. THAT was EUPHORIC.”

With the Formula E season behind her, for now, Bustamante shifts her full attention to the GB3 Championship. “Full focus back on @gb3championship where we go to round 5 of the season back at Silverstone,” she added. “A lot to build on this weekend, can’t wait to be back in the car.”

In a separate post following practice, she revealed a personal high which was finishing P10 out of 25, marking her best official test yet. “I know today was only Thursday practice… but for me it was a big day because I know how hard I’ve had to work to reach this result,” she wrote.

Acknowledging the emotional toll of public scrutiny and the financial pressures of securing sponsorships, Bustamante didn’t shy away from the mental hurdles she’s faced. “This season has honestly been the biggest challenge I’ve faced in my career… it’s been a mental battle ngl.”

Despite the challenges, her resolve remains firm. “You gotta be hard on yourself all the time, BUT sometimes it’s also important to celebrate the small wins in life,” she said, before signing off with a rallying cry that has become a personal mantra: “Laban Lang!”
