Australian home and lifestyle brand Anko is making further progress in the Philippine market, as it is set to debut another store in the country soon.
Located inside the Trinoma mall in Quezon City, the branch will open sometime in July 2025 and would become the third for the company.
Moreover, it is also being touted as its biggest store in the Philippines to date, trumping its first location at Glorietta 2 Makati and the Alabang Town Center, which only opened last May.
Notably, the country is also the first in Southeast Asia to have branches of the Australian brand that is known for its affordable products across a wide range of categories like beauty, home essentials, and even toys.
In Trendrod’s previous interview with Anko’s Country Manager for the Philippines, Rachel Turner, in January 2025, she shared the group’s optimism about its local operations.
“It’s a huge market with so much potential. Filipino culture has a lot in common with what we value back home — there’s a strong focus on family, and that aligns perfectly with Anko’s ethos. We’re optimistic about how well Filipino customers will respond to what we bring to the table,” said Turner.
Reflecting on the positive response to its first store at Glorietta mere months after it launched in the country, Rachel told Trendrod that the reception of Filipino consumers “has been incredibly encouraging.”
“We’re thrilled to see a warm welcome and growing interest in Anko, with customers sharing positive feedback on social media about how our products are a perfect match to their lifestyles.”
She continued, “[t]his response reinforces our belief that the Philippines is the ideal market for Anko, and we’re excited to continue fostering meaningful connections with our customers.”
Meanwhile, in May, upon learning from their experiences with customers at their original location, Turner shared that the brand evolved further by offering another program for them.
“We’ve learned so much from our first store in Glorietta 2, and we promise to keep listening to our customers and understanding what they truly value,” said Rachel Turner.
She continued, “The Anko Club app will help us better connect with our customers and meet their needs. We’re creating a space–online and in-store– where people can explore, be inspired, and find their perfect match.”
Anko Club features include interactive challenges, push notifications, and both custom and group in-app messaging to keep members connected and engaged.
Regarding the Trinoma store launch, Anko has yet to reveal the official opening date in the coming days.
