MITSUBISHI Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) is refreshing its lineup with the updated Mirage G4, a practical and affordable sedan that now comes with sharper styling and added safety features to strengthen its appeal among everyday Filipino drivers.
Since its introduction to the Philippine market in 2013, the Mirage G4 has consistently been a strong seller for MMPC. Known for its dependability, fuel efficiency, and approachable price point, the compact sedan has become a favorite among first-time car buyers and practical families alike. Over the years it has played a crucial role in sustaining Mitsubishi’s local sales performance, and with the new 2025 update, it looks set to continue that role while appealing to younger and more style-conscious drivers.
The exterior receives a sharper look with the addition of LED projector headlights and LED tail lamps, improvements that not only enhance visibility but also lend the sedan a more premium presence on the road. Complementing the lighting upgrades are new machine-finished two-tone alloy wheels, now standard across all variants, which further give the Mirage G4 a sportier stance. While the overall design remains familiar, these touches ensure that the model keeps pace with the more aggressive styling trends in the segment.

Safety has also been made a priority in the latest Mirage G4. Mitsubishi has introduced hill start assist and active stability control across all variants, features that provide greater driver confidence when tackling steep inclines or slippery roads. These come on top of standard equipment such as dual front SRS airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, and for the top-of-the-line GLS variant, a backing camera that makes maneuvering in tight city spaces much easier. By raising the level of safety technology, the Mirage G4 positions itself as one of the more reassuring choices in the entry-level sedan segment.

Under the hood, the Mirage G4 continues with its proven 1.2-liter three-cylinder Mivec engine, available with either a five-speed manual transmission for the GLX MT (manual transmission) or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for the GLX CVT and GLS CVT trims. Though modest in power output, this powertrain has long been praised for its excellent fuel economy and ease of maintenance, making it especially suited for daily use in Metro Manila’s traffic conditions. The simplicity of its engineering also helps keep ownership costs low, which remains one of the key attractions for Filipino buyers.
Inside, the Mirage G4 remains focused on practicality, but with thoughtful touches to improve daily comfort. A generous 450-liter trunk makes it one of the more versatile choices in its class, easily accommodating luggage, groceries, or a stroller for young families. For entertainment and connectivity, the car offers wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, giving drivers seamless access to navigation apps and music streaming.
The higher GLS variant adds amenities such as keyless entry, automatic climate control, and a remote trunk opener, small conveniences that contribute to a more comfortable ownership experience without pushing the price too high.
The Mirage G4 also continues to hold significance as a locally assembled model, proudly built at MMPC’s Santa Rosa, Laguna plant. This not only provides jobs and supports local industry but also ensures buyers benefit from a steady supply of parts and service across Mitsubishi’s extensive dealer network nationwide.
The updated Mirage G4 is offered in four exterior colors, namely Titanium Gray Metallic, Red Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Solid, the latter available on an order basis. Pricing has been set at P793,000 for the GLX MT, P841,000 for the GLX CVT, and P937,000 for the GLS CVT.
