The Miss Grand Philippines organization described Emma Tiglao as the ‘most ready, polished, determined, and fully prepared’ delegate to compete.
Filipino pageant fans need to start preparing to cheer for another Filipina beauty queen this month as current reigning Miss Grand Philippines Emma Tiglao is set to compete for the crown this month.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Grand Philippines announced that Emma is set to compete in the Miss Grand International pageant to be held in Thailand this month, from September 29 to October 19.
In the caption of the post, the organization described Emma as the “most ready, polished, determined, and fully prepared” delegate to compete in the pageant and hopefully bring home another Miss Grand International crown for the country. The organization also called on pageant fans to support Emma and “stand with her as she takes on the grandest stage.”
Emma was crowned the new Miss Grand Philippines two weeks ago, and in a recent Instagram post, expressed her gratitude to the people who prayed for her, guided her, believed in her, and never left her side. She also wrote that her win should be a reminder that pageantry shouldn’t be about hate or tearing someone down.
Other winning queens during the Miss Grand Philippines coronation night at the SM Mall of Asia were Miss Grand Zambales Anita Rose Gomez, who was crowned the 2025 Miss Asia Pacific Philippines; Miss Grand Aklan Francesca Beatriz McLelland, who was crowned the 2026 Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas; Miss Grand Taguig Michelle Arceo, who was crowned the 2025 Miss Tourism World Philippines; and Miss Grand Quezon City Nikki Buenafe Cheveh as the 2025 Face of Beauty Philippines.
Miss Grand Bicol Margarette Briton was named the first runner-up, while Miss Grand Rizal Beatriz Ocampo was named second runner-up.
Before winning the Miss Grand Philippines crown, Emma was already a frontrunner during the preliminary rounds, winning the Miss Mestiza, Miss Nutriexpert, and Miss Regroe special awards.
Emma is just one of multiple Filipinos heading out to compete in international pageants. Just a few days ago, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide winners Kenneth Marcelino, Jether Palomo, and Kirk Bondad were given a send-off at the KMC, Armstrong Corporate Center.
Kenneth is set to compete in the Mister Cosmopolitan pageant that will be held from September 2 to September 9. Kirk Bondad is set to compete in the Mister International pageant from September 12 to September 26, and Jether Palomo is set to compete in the Mister Global pageant from September 25 to October 5. All of the pageants will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
