30th August 2025 – (Hong Kong) At around 10am yesterday, a 53-year-old Filipino tourist and his wife were enjoying their time at the amusement park when he suddenly collapsed. The man was transported by ambulance to North Lantau Hospital but he did not survive. Following investigations, the authorities have ruled out any suspicion surrounding the case.
The deceased gentleman and his wife, both hailing from the Philippines, arrived in Hong Kong together on Wednesday, the 27th of the week and checked into a hotel in Tsuen Wan.
At around 10am, the man and his family ventured to the “World of Frozen” themed area to engage in interactive games. It was at this juncture that the man collapsed, prompting his wife to seek assistance from park staff and alert emergency services. Despite immediate medical attention from the staff, the man was rushed to the hospital. Regrettably, by 11.27am, the man was pronounced deceased. Following a comprehensive inspection, all components of the interactive game in question were found to be in proper working order.
