Sandara Park and Apl.de.Ap performed their single, ‘2 Proud.’
American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas returned to Manila after six years for an energetic and nostalgic one-night show at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 27, Wednesday.
The group further surprised their Filipino fans at the concert with a special performance by K-pop star Sandara Park.
After performing “The APL Song,” Filipino-American rapper and Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.Ap announced he had a surprise for the fans and then introduced Sandara to the crowd.
The 2NE1 member came on stage in a sparkling gold and silver mini dress and performed “2 Proud,” a song she and Apl.de.Ap collaborated on and was released in March 2024.
Sandara even showcased her dancing skills in the dance break part of the song.
“Maraming salamat! Thank you, Apl.de.Ap,” Sandara said before exiting the stage.
Aside from Sandara, Black Eyed Peas also brought on stage Filipino-American rapper EZ Mil, who opened the show and shared the stage with Apl.de.Ap during the iconic song, “Bebot.”
The award-winning group was also joined by singer J. Rey Soul, who has been a touring and session member of the group since 2018.
