Food, music, dance, and a vibrant parade, San Antonio gets ready for a fun weekend

The Filipino and Pacific Islander Festival is right around the corner, and Angelica Guzman and Khai Castro joined us to share all the exciting details about this weekend’s celebration!

They gave us a delicious preview of the food that will be available, including a live demo of how to make Lumpia, a crispy, savory Filipino favorite that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

But the event is more than just great food. Festivalgoers can enjoy live music, cultural dance performances, and a variety of shopping vendors showcasing island-inspired goods. The festivities kick off with a colorful parade, followed by performances from talented musicians and dancers representing the rich traditions of the Philippines and Pacific Islands.

Whether you’re coming for the flavors, the fun, or the cultural experience, this festival promises something for everyone. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this joyful celebration of heritage and community!
