MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police conducted a fun run for a cause led by PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III, who completed the five-kilometer category, in Pasig City yesterday.
Dubbed “Run with the Chief,” the event was organized by the PNP in partnership with the Rotary Club of Camp Crame.
Around 3,000 police personnel joined the fun run, which was divided into three-kilometer, five-km and 10-km categories.
Torre, who is also promoting fitness among police officers, said the activity highlights the importance of maintaining strength and health in the police service.
Personnel from various police districts in Metro Manila participated in the event.
