This August, Ortigas Malls is turning up the spotlight on Filipino culture, language, and artistry with an exciting series of Buwan ng Wika events at GH Mall and Estancia Mall. Packed with vibrant activities, live performances, workshops, and bazaars, the celebrations promise something for everyone—whether you’re a culture lover, a family looking for bonding moments, or simply someone who wants to revel in what makes us proudly Filipino.

GH Mall: A celebration of entrepreneurship and community
At GH Mall, the Buwan ng Wika festivities highlight the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels local pride and innovation. From August 15 to 17, the South Wing Atrium comes alive with the much-awaited Nakakalocal Bazaar, now on its fourth year. Shoppers can discover and support homegrown brands while enjoying unique finds made with Filipino creativity.

Right next door, the Kiddopreneur event on August 16 to 17 at the East Wing Atrium gives kids a chance to explore the world of business through fun, hands-on activities—planting the seeds for the next generation of Filipino entrepreneurs.

GH Mall also rolls out a lineup of engaging events for the rest of the month:

From August 18 to 31, Kulturang Pinoy takes center stage, offering a cultural showcase of crafts, music, and heritage. To set the mood, soulful Kundiman performances on August 23 and 30, along with heartfelt Harana serenades on August 24 and 30, will fill the mall with nostalgic melodies.

For those who love hands-on creativity, the Likhang Pinoy workshops from August 25 to 27 are a must-visit:

  • Hinulmang Papel (Paper Bowl Making) – Mondays
  • Paggawa ng Pabango (Perfume Crafting with local scents like sampaguita and ylang-ylang) – Tuesdays
