MANILA, Philippines — ABS-CBN and GMA-7 shows and personalities received a total of eight nominations at the 2025 ContentAsia Awards.
ABS-CBN earned five nominations.
“Hello, Love, Again,” which ABS-CBN Studios produced with GMA Pictures, is up for Best Movie or Telemovie Made in Asia.
Last year, GMA Pictures’ “Firefly” and Star Cinema’s “A Very Good Girl” finished with the Bronze and Silver Awards, respectively, in this category.
Celebrity couple TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s collaboration song, “Palagi,” which was used in the highest-grossing Filipino film to date, is nominated for Best Original Song Created in Asia for an Asian TV Series/Program or Movie.
The Filipino adaptation of “Saving Grace” received nominations for Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia and Best Supporting Actress in a TV Program/Series Made in Asia for young actress Zia Grace.

Another acting nomination went to Jericho Rosales, Best Male Lead in a TV Program/Series Made in Asia, for his role of Tyrone de Vera in “Lavender Fields.” Arjo Atayde won the award last year for his role in “Cattleya Killer.”
GMA Network’s two nominations are “I-Bilib” for Best Kids TV Program Made in Asia and “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” for Best Talk Show Made in Asia.
The last Philippine nomination is the People’s Television Network’s “PTV Sports” competing for Best Sports Magazine Program Made in Asia.
Winners will be announced at an on-ground event in Taipei, Taiwan on September 4.
Apart from the three awards mentioned earlier from last year’s edition, Filipino shows won four more, including Jessica Soho’s “Secret Slaves” for Best Current Affairs Program Made in Asia for Regional Asia and/or International Markets and “Zoomers” for Best Asian Short-form Series. The Philippines won a total of seven wins in 2024.
