Herndon re-signs with NLEX | Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines — NLEX guard Robbie Herndon has signed a one-year extension to stay with the Road Warriors, the team announced Wednesday.

The 6-foot-3 Herndon averaged 6.9 points on 43.7% shooting from deep last season. He is one of the bright spots of the team who reached the quarterfinal round in the PBA Philippine Cup.

In a statement, the Filipino-American thanked his team for their “vote of confidence.”

“As I told Boss Ronald [Dulatre] earlier, I can’t wait to get back to work and be with the guys. I’m thankful for the trust they’ve given me,” Herndon said.

He earlier signed with the Road Warriors back in 2023.

Herndon has been a steady part of the team as he banked on veteran leadership and shooting.

“Last season was painful — especially after we lost our twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals,” Herndon said.

“That feeling still lingers, not just for me, but for all my teammates and coaches. It’s a big motivation for us heading into the next conference.”

Meanwhile, star guard Robert Bolick will continue to be the main man for NLEX in the upcoming PBA Season 50, which will tip off later this year.
