LOS ANGELES, California — More than three years since releasing “Here We Go,” Filipino girl group 4th Impact will drop a new single ahead of the quartet’s 10th anniversary.

The group composed of Cercado sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina released a teaser for their new single “I Bet You Never” on their socials several days ago, hinting at a new danceable ditty.

“We recorded it here in LA,” Irene told INQUIRER Entertainment in an interview after the group sang at a recent Sunday Mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Glendale, California.

Almira said the upcoming single will have a different sound from the usual songs they perform. “A lot of people are saying we should not always do belting. So this is it,” she said.

“Everyone can dance along with it. this is our new era, and new 4th Impact,” continued the eldest among the four members of the group.

Mylene said, “watch out for our new single, ‘Dreamers!’” addressing their fandom. The group plans to release “I Bet You Never” next month, in time for their 10th anniversary.

The group will mount “Dominat10n,” to celebrate their decade as 4th Impact, on Aug. 29 at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles, California, with no less than Filipino-American artist Troy Laureta as musical director.

Laureta has recently worked with “The Voice” winner Sofronio Vasquez, also as musical director for the singer’s one-night only show in New York City last month. The two will collaborate anew in LA in October.

Mylene said Laureta is the group’s dream musical director, and they are extremely excited to work with him. “This will also be the first time that we will have a live band,” she said.

“Dominat10n” will be the group’s biggest concert since making a brave move to the United States two years ago when they decided to embark on a new journey as self-managed artists.

Irene revealed that they were on the brink of giving up, but they carried on with their dreams. “So we’re shouting out to our producers for believing in us,” she said.

Mylene thanked their “Tito Gerry and Tita Faith of GF Bayola Productions for trusting us.”
