What to expect at the 36th Philippine Travel Mart • PhilSTAR Life

With 7,641 islands and countless hidden gems, the Philippines always promises more to explore. As enticing travel deals emerge, the Philippine Tour Operators Association’s Philippine Travel Mart, the longest-running interactive tourism expo, stands ready to unveil the nation’s diverse wonders.

Under the theme “Boosting the NextGen Tourism,” the 36th Philippine Travel Mart reflects a bold commitment to shaping a travel industry that is more connected, responsible, and future-ready, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, and wellness.

“This year, we’re not just selling travel—we’re inspiring a new way to explore,” PHILTOA President Arjun Shroff said during the press conference held on July 25.

What to expect

Shroff highlights the unique opportunity the event offers, a chance to give the public “a look at those things which they cannot visualize or see,” he shared with PhilSTAR L!fe.

Set to take place from Sept. 5 to 7 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the fair will feature booths representing every region of the Philippines. “Each region has its own specialty, so it’s like bringing 18 parts of the Philippines into this exhibition,” Shroff explained.

Beyond just exhibits, the three-day event will also feature a dedicated stage where travel talks, raffles, live demos, and cultural shows from each region will take place. Shroff emphasizes that this initiative aims to “boost even those unknown places or known places but less visited,” serving as “a very good push to create that love for the Philippine culture.”

The event will also feature over 300 exhibitors, including airlines, hotels, resorts, and travel agencies, all offering reasonably-priced flights, accommodations, and tour packages.

Describing the event as a “megahouse of miniaturizing Philippines,” Shroff suggests that a single day might not be enough to fully experience it. He encourages attendees to come all three days to truly immerse themselves in local products, discover new destinations, and expand their knowledge of Philippine culture.

“We are hoping that the foot traffic will be very good, and people will be able to achieve what they came looking for,” Shroff said.

Tickets to the 36th Philippine Travel Mart are now available here.

The early bird rate of P100 is available until July 31; after this period, a regular rate of P120 will apply.
