And so in celebration of a genre that continues to dominate, Billboard Philippines presents Pinoy Hip-Hop Mixtape 2025, featuring a lineup of rookies that are not only taking over the charts week after week, but that are also reshaping culture with every release. Armed with raw talent, unfiltered creativity, and a drive to break new ground, these artists are reimagining what Pinoy hip-hop can be.

These are the rising acts of Billboard Philippines‘ Pinoy Hip-Hop Mixtape 2025.

Alex Bruce

Alex Bruce is one of the freshest and most dynamic voices in the Filipino hip-hop scene. Despite her young age, she’s made a name for herself with her smooth flow and sharp lyricism. Her tracks seamlessly combine a modern edge with classic hip-hop, drawing listeners in with her distinct sound.

CK YG

In the past year, CK YG has been the most exciting name to take over Filipino hip-hop, whether through a viral hit that’s soundtracking millions of videos on social media, or a chart-topping track that’s surpassing the music scene’s mainstays. Amassing millions of streams with hits like “Wag Na” and “B4 I LET YOU GO,” he has become one of the highest charting hip-hop rookies on the Philippines Hot 100.

Costa Cashman

Initially making a name for himself as part of the trio O SIDE MAFIA, Costa Cashman is now stepping out on his own. Known for the brazen energy he brings to music, his solo work takes the aggressive, high-octane sound fans know and love and pushes it even further. He’s carving a lane all his own, showing that even as a soloist, there’s no stopping him.

NIO

Boastful and bold, NIO shattered expectations with his unapologetic style and unfiltered lyrics. With hits like “ABA GINOONG NAPUPUNO NG SWAG” and “99% SWAG,” he has risen through the ranks, turning heads within the hip-hop scene. With every track, NIO solidifies his position as a force to be reckoned with.

Robledo Timido

Even after only emerging on the scene four years ago, Robledo Timido has proven to be quite the modern hitmaker in Filipino hip-hop. The viral star has continuously churned out hits, gaining the attention of millions online — and even dominating the charts for weeks. With his infectious melodies and catchy hooks, Timido has quickly established himself as an artist to watch out for.

Sica

There’s no denying that Sica is a consistent hitmaker in the world of Filipino hip-hop. Recognized for his versatility and range — as seen by his discography that spans everything from party bangers to introspective hits, the “BULLETPROOF” hitmaker is a rising force in the scene.

SUPAFLY

SUPAFLY’s no stranger to viral hit. Whether it’s his hard-hitting “PUFF ME UP” or groovy “Answer The G,” the rising rapper has taken over social media — and even the Philippines Hot 100 — time and time again. Characterized for his captivating beats and incomparable intensity, SUPAFLY has always been poised to be at the top of the scene, becoming one of the genre’s most sought-after rappers today.

Waiian

Waiian is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting voices in Filipino hip-hop. While he may seem unassuming, there’s no denying what he brings to the mic. Whether it’s his reflective verses or his ability to craft memorable hooks, Waiian’s versatility sets him apart, making him a standout in a scene filled with rising talent

YB Neet

After only three years since emerging onto the scene, YB Neet — also known as Young Blood Neet — has paved his own unique path in hip-hop. Wanting to impart a positive impact, his writing combines introspective reflections with uplifting messages, creating music that not only motivates his listeners but also tops the charts. If his chart-breaking hit “ILY” is any indicator, YB Neet’s definitely someone to keep on your radar.
