First developer-curated expo for Filipino home seekers

For many Filipinos, owning a home remains one of life’s biggest milestones.

To mark Robinsons Land’s 45th anniversary, RLC Residences launched “RLC Residences Expo 2025: Hello, Home, Forever” — a developer-curated housing expo that brought together hundreds of home seekers and industry leaders for a three-day event aimed at redefining the homebuying experience.

True to the theme ‘Hello, Home, Forever,’ the expo offers an immersive, curated experience that brings the essence of home to life.

Held from June 20 to 22 at Park Avenue in Bridgetowne, Pasig City, the expo focused not just on showcasing properties, but on making the often overwhelming journey to homeownership simpler, smarter, and more accessible. It also reinforces the company’s commitment to “building better lives.”

“RLC Residences Expo 2025 is more than a showcase of our developments — it’s a celebration of our commitment to helping people find a home they can truly grow with and come home to forever. Through this event, we aim to make the journey to homeownership more exciting, accessible, and deeply meaningful for every Filipino and global investor,” shared John Richard Sotelo, Chief Marketing Officer of Robinsons Land and Senior Vice President, Business Unit General Manager of RLC Residences, in a statement.

“We named this year’s event ‘Hello, Home, Forever’ because we believe home is not just where life begins — it’s where it continues to grow. Our goal is to create spaces that stay relevant not just today, but for every chapter of our homeowners’ lives. That’s what forever means to us,” Sotelo added.

Unlike traditional property fairs, the RLC Residences Expo centered on the full customer journey — from discovery to ownership to leasing. Guests explored three zones: Hello Zone which traced RLC Residences’ legacy and mission; Home Zone which featured its diverse portfolio of vertical and horizontal developments across key cities; and Forever Zone which offered expert talks, home living inspiration, and real estate investment tips.

Speakers included industry experts, financial advocates, and creators like brand ambassador Heart Evangelista, founder and Home Buddies Facebook community Frances Cabatuando, and financial advocate and founder of Ready2AdultPH Charm De Leon, bridging inspiration with actionable advice for first-time buyers and investors alike.

“We’re trying to simplify the process, especially for first- or second-time buyers. It’s still a big decision and can feel overwhelming. So we brought in partners and curated everything to reduce choice fatigue. It’s about clarity and connection,” Sotelo said in an interview with The Manila Times.

Attendees enjoyed exclusive expo offers, including: Pre-selling 120 promo (120-month payment terms); free SMEG appliances for early bookings; Up to 45 months of rebates via GoTyme; and 10 percent additional discounts for the first 45 booked units.

These were in addition to RLC’s ongoing Early Move-In and Lease-to-Own programs.

But the expo wasn’t just about closing deals — it was about opening doors. RLC Residences also showcased its digital concierge, leasing services, and integration with other Robinsons Land business units — part of a larger, future-facing strategy.

“We’re not just selling homes. We’re building an ecosystem. And we’re doing it in a way that stays relevant not just today, but across every chapter of our homeowners’ lives,” Sotelo explained to The Manila Times.

Looking forward, RLC Residences is banking on synergy, innovation, and resilience to drive growth. Backed by Robinsons Land’s 525.50 strategy — an ambitious plan to reach p25 billion in net income by the company’s 50th year — RLC Residences is poised to play a central role in this transformation.

“After 45 years, we’ve never been stronger. Each business unit is performing well on its own, but what excites me most is how we’re now working together to deliver more integrated solutions. It’s going to be an exciting five years,” said Sotelo.

For Sotelo, the goal remains clear and that is to make a real, lasting difference in people’s lives.

“Whether it’s a quick mall visit or your forever home, we want what we build to make your life better. It’s a bold promise — but we’re not afraid of bold,” he finally said.
