Jessica Sanchez is still over the moon following her win on “America’s Got Talent” Season 20.
In an Instagram post, the Filipino-American singer shared photos of her journey since she first joined the competition when she was 10 years old.
She said that winning “AGT” was not just about a single performance or one night.
“It was about a journey that began over 20 years ago. From a little girl with a dream and a voice that was bigger than her confidence, to the countless auditions, rejections, stages, and moments of doubt along the way… every single step shaped me and prepared me for this moment,” Jessica said.
She added that her journey is proof of God’s timing.
“This isn’t just a trophy or a title, it’s the reminder that dreams delayed are not dreams denied. That God’s timing is always perfect. That perseverance, faith, and love can carry you through valleys you never thought you’d get out of.”
Jessica thanked her family, friends, and everyone who supported her.
“You’ve reminded me why I sing, why I share my soul through music, and why this dream was worth holding onto,” she said.
“This victory isn’t just mine, it’s ours. It belongs to everyone who has ever dared to keep going, even when the road felt too long,” she added.
Before ending her post, Jessica penned a message for her daughter.
“And to my baby girl, Eliana Mae.. Mama did it. We did it.”
Jessica first went on “America’s Got Talent” at 10 and reached the semi-finals. She later rose to fame as the runner-up in “American Idol” Season 11.
She made a grand AGT comeback in July, where she sang “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
In the finale episode of the competition, Jessica delivered a powerful performance of “Golden Hour” by JVKE.
