MANILA, Philippines — Tens of thousands of people, from different organizations and sectors, gathered at the Luneta Park and plazas in different parts of the country on Sunday morning, September 21, to protest the massive corruption in the government’s flood control projects and to commemorate the 53rd anniversary of Martial Law.
By midday, protesters started marching along EDSA to join the “Trillion Peso March” at the People Power Monument where around 30,000 people were expected to attend.
