Vice Ganda once again made his voice heard on social issues as he called on Filipinos to stand together against corruption, dropping a strong hint that he will join the nationwide protest set for Sunday, September 21.
On Friday, the comedian-host took to Instagram to share a striking message: “Magkita kita tayo sa Luneta sa Linggo. Oras na para wakasan ang kagarapalan ng mga hayop na magnanakaw sa gobyerno.” The post also included details of the rally, which kicks off at 9 a.m. at Luneta before moving to the Edsa Shrine at 2 p.m.
Vice also posted a map of the protest route, signaling clear support for what has become one of the largest anti-corruption movements in recent years.
He is not alone in this stand. Fellow artists Tuesday Vargas and Ogie Alcasid have earlier announced their plans to take part in the demonstrations. Many celebrities have likewise joined the growing chorus of frustration following revelations about questionable flood-control projects.
Vice, who has long used his platform to push for equality and accountability, is now urging Filipinos to show up and make their voices heard.
