Gary Valenciano couldn’t help but gush after meeting Nicole Scherzinger.
On Instagram, Mr. Pure Energy shared photos of himself and his wife, Angeli, with the Tony Award-winning Filipino-American singer and actress.
“Last night I got to watch and talk to this outstanding, amazing, awe-inspiring Tony Award Winner,” Gary wrote.
“What a [down-to-earth] and humble human being she is,” he added. “Thank you for all the time you spent with us, Nicole.”
Nicole, who first made a mark as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, left a sweet reply in the comments: “Famous Gary! Love to you and Angeli!”
In June, Nicole bagged the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her powerful portrayal of Norma Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard.” The production also won Best Musical Revival.
